Evrotrust Release Notes (Official Release v.24.5.0)

PRODUCTION RELEASE: Oct 17, 2024 Dear Evrotrust customers and partners, we’re happy to announce the release of Evrotrust v.24.5.0. Production release is planned for Oct 17, 2024, and is expected to start at 23:00 EET with approximately 3 hours of downtime. Details on the improvements and changes are below.

I. MOBILE APP

First things first: update to the latest version available! Android—2.0.449; Huawei HarmonyOS—2.0.374; iOS—2.0.279

{IMPROVED} UNSUCCESSFUL IDENTIFICATION GOES TO SUPERVISION AFTER 3 ATTEMPTS

The user has 3 attempts to successfully pass the facial regonition step. If the user is unsuccessful after the third attempt, they will now see an “Identification is in review” screen, and their profile will be activated only after our manual review and confirmation.

{ALL CHANNELS} ROMANIAN ADDRESS ADDED AS OBLIGATORY FIELD

We have included a new data attribute in the list for Romanian ID cards and passports—permanent address. It’s now available at: User’s profile; eID request—list of data attributes; eID means—PDF form for mobile or JSON file for web

{ALL CHANNELS} IMPROVED DOCUMENT SCANNING STEP

New visuals are introduced for better user experience and an improved document scanning process.

II. WEB ID (SDK)

{NEW} 2 NEW UNSUCCESS REASONS ADDED

105 no_user_profile_picture: In case there is no picture taken of the user during the identification process; 106 not_supported_age: In case the user’s ID card is scanned, and the person in possession is under 18 years old.

{NEW} BULGARIAN ID DOCUMENTS—ALTERNATIVE SCENARIO ADDED

In case a check in the national register for ID documents cannot be performed, the identification of the user will undergo a manual review by our supervisors.

{IMPROVED} REDIRECT URL PARAMETERS ARE NOW THE SAME IN ALL SCENARIOS

In case the user cancels the identification process at any step, we will return back the below parameters: reference_id; external_reference_id; status; unsuccess_reason

{IMPROVED} DATA ATTRIBUTES RETURNED IN THE RESPONSE

If your request contains a data attribute that is not present in the list of attributes for the specific identification, we will return back the parameter with an empty string: For example: "nationalityCountryCode":""

All returned dates are now in the same format: Before > "oneTimeIdentificationDate" - "2024-06-16 06:58:42"; Now > 1719288969
