Deutsche Leasing & Sofia Airport Sign Digital Contracts in DocuSign With Evrotrust
Did you know Evrotrust’s eSignatures are available directly in DocuSign? If you are already using that platform for your business’s digital document management, you’d be happy to learn that you can find our qualified electronic signatures (QES) as an option there.
In fact, companies such as Deutsche Leasing Bulgaria and SOF Connect have already switched to using the Evrotrust mobile QES available directly in DocuSign.
Deutsche Leasing Bulgaria is an asset finance company supporting small and medium-sized enterprises with a wide range of financial solutions and is the primary leasing partner of the Savings Banks Financial Group.
SOF Connect is the current concessionaire of Sofia Airport, aiming to modernize it over the course of its 35-year contract.

Summary
- Deutsche Leasing Bulgaria and SOF Connect were both looking to digitize more of their workflows by integrating electronic signatures.
- Both companies were already using DocuSign to manage some documentation digitally.
- By selecting the Evrotrust QES in DocuSign, both businesses managed to cut costs and improve document management significantly.
The Challenge
Deutsche Leasing Bulgaria struggled with manual contract management. Archival and digitalization was slow for documents in need of legally binding signatures, taking up valuable time that employees could be spending on more high-priority tasks.
Similarly, SOF Connect was also dealing with too much paperwork. Especially when signing contracts with international entities, the company was allocating too much time and resources for printing and shipping contracts.
The Solution
Evrotrust offers a ready-to-use QES available in DocuSign. Thus, companies already working with this platform don’t need to develop a separate integration for qualified electronic signatures.
Some of the main benefits of using Evrotrust in DocuSign include:
- Quick and easy integration: it’s already right there and doesn’t require additional setup;
- International compliance: Evrotrust is an eIDAS-certified QTSP, so our qualified electronic signatures have full legal validity in the EU and several other countries.
Both Deutsche Leasing Bulgaria and SOF Connect routinely sign contracts with clients and partners all over the world. Now they handle all of this digitally, using up less time, funds, and human resources for document management.

The Results
Deutsche Leasing Bulgaria reports that it sped up its contract origination process by 100% and achieved a 30% cost reduction, thanks to the automation achieved with the addition of Evrotrust’s QES.
Meanwhile, SOF Connect digitized 100% of its contract signing and saved at least 200,000 sheets of paper by going digital with Evrotrust. You can learn more about how Evrotrust supports Sofia Airport’s ESG strategy here.
How To Use Evrotrust in DocuSign
If you also wish to use Evrotrust in DocuSign, you can find it under “signature type.” The signer will receive an email from DocuSign containing a link to initiate the signing process.
Users who have registered in the Evrotrust app before and have a valid certificate can sign the document in just a few seconds.
New users will be invited to download the Evrotrust app and undergo identity verification the first time they sign. This process takes no more than 3 minutes. On the plus side, since their QES certificate is reusable, users can sign subsequent documents with a single click.
