Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs in Go, powering Evrotrust’s identification, e-signature and Digital Wallet products.
- Design scalable, secure and high-performance backend microservices, containerized with Docker and deployed on Evrotrust’s Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Design integrations with internal and external systems/APIs (REST and/or gRPC).
- Participate actively in software development, code reviews and technical decision-making.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Frontend, Mobile, QA, DevOps and Security teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Ensure reliability, optimal performance and high availability of production systems.
- Identify technical risks\ and propose effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards and regulatory requirements (eIDAS, GDPR, AML/KYC, PSD2).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.
- Drive CI/CD and release processes together with DevOps, working within the existing Kubernetes deployment pipeline.
Required Skills
- 3-5+ years of backend development experience with Go (Golang).
- Strong understanding of the entire software development lifecycle.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with gRPC a plus.
- Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TLS and secure data transmission.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes — Evrotrust’s backend services run in a containerized, orchestrated environment.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with microservices and clean-architecture patterns.
- Writing clean, efficient, well-tested Go code (idiomatic Go, table-driven tests) following development best practices.
- Good command of technical English.
Nice to have experience with
- Messaging brokers, e.g. RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Mutual TLS (mTLS) and client-certificate authentication.
- Cryptography and crypto libraries.
- Previous experience building software under regulatory requirements (GDPR, eIDAS, PSD2, AML/KYC).
- Kubernetes tooling beyond the basics — Helm, service mesh, or cloud-native observability (Prometheus/Grafana).
- Prior experience on a Java/JVM backend, especially migrating services to Go — useful context given Evrotrust’s own transition, though not required.
