Dr. Heinrich Grave is joining Evrotrust’s team as Managing Director of Evrotrust Technologies GmbH. In this role, Dr. Grave will lead the establishment and strategic development of Evrotrust’s business unit in the Western European markets, strengthening the company’s position as a leading European provider of trust services with a strong focus on eSignatures and digital identity.
With more than 20 years of experience in digital transformation and strategy development Dr. Grave brings deep expertise from the financial sector, fintech, and consulting. A qualified lawyer with a doctorate and a trained banker, he is a recognized expert in digital identity, KYC processes, and digital business models. He also has extensive operational and strategic experience in transforming business and IT organizations in the context of digital transformation.

Q: What motivated you to join Evrotrust and lead our expansion into the DACH region?
A: Germany represents one of the most important markets for digital trust services in Europe. Evrotrust has developed a strong, innovative platform for eSignatures and digital identity verification, and I see significant potential to support businesses in Germany and beyond in accelerating their digital transformation. The combination of regulatory expertise, technological excellence, and a clear European focus makes Evrotrust a compelling partner in this space.
Q: What will be your main priorities in building Evrotrust’s presence in Germany?
A: Our immediate focus will be on establishing a strong local foundation: building partnerships, ensuring regulatory alignment, delivering solutions tailored to the specific needs of enterprises throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland and establishing a local support team. We aim to position Evrotrust as a trusted provider of secure, compliant, and user-friendly digital identity and eSignature services. Strategic growth and long-term value creation will guide our market development efforts.

A: Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of law, banking, technology, and strategy. My experience includes leading digital transformation initiatives within financial institutions, advising on fintech innovation, and managing complex organizational change processes. This combination of operational and strategic expertise allows me to understand both regulatory requirements and technological opportunities, an essential balance in the field of digital trust services.
Q: What is your vision for the future of digital identity and trust services?
Digital identity and secure electronic signatures are becoming foundational elements of modern business models. Throughout Europe, we see increasing demand for seamless, secure, and fully digital customer journeys.
