On April 21, Evrotrust held the latest edition of Digitalization360 at the Grand Ballroom of Grand Hotel Millennium, Sofia. Over 350 executives from 120+ companies gathered to discuss the topics shaping digital transformation in Bulgaria: artificial intelligence, identity fraud, key identification services, and the upcoming digital identity wallet.

The event opened with a panel discussion titled “Key Identification Services in 2026,” moderated by Lyubomir Tankishev, Director of Sales and Business Development at Evrotrust. Joining him were Karina Devetakova from Yettel Bulgaria, Rostislav Rusinov from Bigbank, and Tanya Stoykova from Generali Bulgaria. The conversation focused on how organizations choose and implement identification services amid growing regulatory requirements and rising customer expectations.

The next session was a presentation by Evrotrust CEO Konstantin Bezuhanov on “Identity Fraud and Artificial Intelligence.” Bezuhanov did something that caught everyone’s attention: live, in under 15 minutes, he created a deepfake video of a guest at the event to show just how accessible these technologies are today.

The demonstration built a concrete case for why robust digital identity solutions are not optional. In Bezuhanov’s words: “Technology is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and with it come new challenges around trust, identity, and security. Our mission at Evrotrust is to ensure that digital interactions remain safe, verifiable, and compliant.”

The second half of the program opened with a panel moderated by Tsanka Taneva, titled “One Digital Process Is Not Enough: What Comes Next for Your Organization.” Panelists included Adelina Popova from bTV Media Group, Iliya Tsonev from Speedy AD, Plamen Kalinov from UBB, and Plamen Natov from ARTIS. Each speaker shared what digitalization looks like in practice at their organization and what happens after the first process is automated.

The event closed with a presentation by Prof. Dr. George Dimitrov, Chairman of the Board at Evrotrust, on “What We Need to Know About the Bulgarian Digital Identity Wallet.” Prof. Dimitrov outlined the current state of the European and national framework, the implementation timelines, and what this means for companies that need to prepare.
