The European Commission is introducing a new format of the Trusted Lists – TLv6, which will replace the current TLv5 in May 2025.
If you rely on the European or National Trusted Lists for validating electronic signatures or seals, it is mandatory to update your software to ensure compatibility with the new TLv6 format. After TLv6 enters into force, systems that do not support it may fail to properly validate certificates, trust chains, and the associated electronic signatures.
Evrotrust recommends a timely review and update of all signature validation components that rely on these Trusted Lists.
